Community Day ~ Saturday 17th March 2007
The Geoff Thomas Foundation XI were privileged to be one of three teams, which took part in the first ever game at the new Wembley. Geoff fielded an impressive side which consisted of ex-Crystal Palace team mate Mark Bright, Graeme Le Saux, Don Goodman and Neville Southall.
The first ever goal was scored by our very own Mark Bright. Mark’s shirt was later put on ebay and raised over £1500 for the foundation.
