SALFORD NOCTURNE
GEOFF Thomas is getting back in the saddle in his native north-west in August.
GTF is the official charity of The Salford Nocturne which takes place on Saturday August 30 and features a Corporate challenge race and Elite Criterium.
The spectacular course has been designed to showcase crit racing at its very best. The route runs around the Lowry, along the canel in front of the Manchester United Football Stadium and through the pedestrian areas of the Salford Quays complex.
The stunning backdrop will host a range of attractions to create a festival atmosphere for families and race fans alike. Big screens, beer tents, wine tasting, food stalls, exhibitors and Rollapaluza roller racing will all ensure a superb night of racing and entertainment.
The event will be the first major race following the Beijing Olympics providing an excellent opportunity to welcome home some of our British stars.
The Nocturne is free to the public with exclusive hospitality tickets available for those who would like to watch the racing in style.
